SAMPLE THE MANY ATTRACTIONS IN CONNECTICUT'S LITCHFIELD HILLS

We are located 12 miles from the center of Litchfield, a living museum of 18th.century architecture,
home to many celebrities, site of the first law school in America, and many fine restaurants and
shops. Hiking, biking and cross country skiing can be enjoyed at White Memorial Foundation,
a 2000 acre nature preserve. Haight Vineyard and the famous White Flower Farm are also in
this area.

You can drive along the scenic Housatonic River to West Cornwall, a tiny town with an old covered
bridge; Climb to the top of the falls at Kent Falls State Park in Kent; or, Visit the beautiful town of
Woodbury with its 50 antique dealers. Fish, kayak or tube along the scenic Farmington River.
The Northwest corner of the state abounds with charming New England towns just too numerous
to mention.

Hartford, the state capitol is just 30 minutes away. The Mark Twain House, Elizabeth Park, and Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art are popular attractions.

horse drawn carriage rides. Black Rock State Park, Thomaston Opera House and New England

WATERBURY 10 miles South with a major mall and Northeast Cinemas. At the mall is the Timexpo
Museum featuring Timex watch making and its heritage dating back to 1850. The gift shop features
clocks and watches. Also, the Mattatuck Museum tells the story of "when Brass was King" with Waterbury the leading manufacturer; includes the schooling of European immigrants by the Chase Brass Company helping these young people to quickly assimilate into American society.
